Casambi Access Point (CAP) is a product that allows you to remotely manage your Casambi network from any point in Poland. Once plugged in after about 1 minute, it is ready to be activated in the Casambi network as a Gateway.

The CAP device is a combination of a configured external LTE router cat. 4 along with a dedicated LTE SIM card with services for 24mce. and a Casambi gateway. The whole set comes in a dedicated housing providing IP54 water protection and stable operation in temperatures from -20 to +55 degrees C.
The router is a stable platform from Teltonika Networks OTD140 series, offering rich configuration of network functions, security, remote management and active manufacturer support.
Corporate SIM card from Orange means stability of Internet access services and the best LTE coverage in Poland. If that’s not enough for you, you have a second SIM card interface in the OTD140 router and we will enable the WAN Failover function.
The CGW gateway is a device that allows you to remotely access the Casambi network and create Facility structures where you can:
In the Casambi app, the product is visible as an Internet Gateway / Cloud Gateway. You will access all functions through the dedicated Casambi APP software (downloadable on Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
| How many control points will it support? | Depending on configuration from 60 to 250 points |
|---|---|
| How much power does it control? [W] | In the Casambi network, virtually any device-load can be connected and controlled. |
| Supply voltage [V] | |
| Current [mA] | |
| Practical range [m] | In the “Long Range” mode, where the network speed is reduced to 0.5MB/s and the devices use the high-sensitivity CBM-003 module. In “Best Performance” mode, where network speed is achieved at the expense of ranges between nodes In “Balanced” mode, where speed and range are optimized for networks of up to 100 nodes. |
| Operating frequency [Mhz] | Channels in the range of 2402 to 2480 Mhz LTE bands available from mobile operators in Poland |
| Maximum RF transmitter power [dBm] | This is the power measured at the antenna before the housing is mounted, and the ranges depend on many external factors, so use the “practical range” parameter. Modem power and LTE coverage depends on the operator’s network configuration. |
| Operating temperatures [oC] | |
| Maximum humidity [%] | Without water vapor condensation, because at a humidity of e.g. 80%, cooling the air causes the vapor to condense, which is harmful to electrical devices. |
| IP protection class [xy] | IP54 protection means that the device is protected against dust in an amount that does not affect its operation and against splashing water from any direction. This is a protection standard used in devices intended for outdoor use or in difficult conditions, providing resistance to adverse weather conditions and external factors. |
| IK protection class [xy] | The operating conditions of the device do not provide for mechanical shocks during installation and normal operation. |

| Connection | To install the product, you need to open the case and screw the base to the wall and connect the power supply through the cable gland to the included WAGO adapters. |
